Video MP3 Players - How Do I Decide On One Of Them?
There are a ton of Video MP3 Players out there. You will be able to view videos whenever you like. They are quite compact and fun to use and they are quite powerful as well.
There are a variety of shapes, sizes, colors and a huge amount of features too long to list here. But, it is safe to safe if you can think it, they can do it. ![]()
Ok, I’ll talk about the features so you are informed. You need to pay attention to the size of it’s memory and if it is solid state unit meaning it has no hard drive built into it and only has memory. But, if it has a hard drive you need to pay attention to the storage size.
Regardless if it has a hard drive or memory for the song storage they basically do they same thing. So, if you have a 1GB of memory on one unit the next unit may have a 1GB hard drive.
But, the higher the amount of your storage the great amount of songs, videos and images you can put on it. If your unit is a little 4GB unit you will easily be able to put thousands of audio files, videos and images too.
But of course there are much bigger sizes as well that range from 16GB to 80GB or 120GB for storage of your videos, music, photo’s and more. If you are one who plans on having 10,000+ songs, thousands of videos, pictures and more then I am sure these units will serve you nicely.
I just am disappointed when I notice people who plan on having like 500 or less MP3’s on there unit and some videos and images go and buy a unit that is meant for a power user like I mentioned above. What they really need is a smaller unit like the 4GB units or around there in storage size.
But again, like I mentioned, if you must have ten’s of thousands of MP3’s, video’s and photo’s, images and other files at your fingertips then these much bigger units are for you. You will have to pay more for this privilege but it will be worth it to you I am sure.

Best Underwater Digital Cameras
Underwater digital cameras are used to capture the beautiful life beneath the ocean. The cameras help scientists in their research on marine biology and wealth. There are many branded companies that offer high- quality digital underwater cameras. A few of the famous companies are Canon, Kodak, Sony, Nikon and Olympus. The best underwater digital cameras are those that can be used for sporting or scientific activities, in all kind of weather and in a variety of locations, wet or wild.
Underwater digital cameras are better than the film underwater cameras, as they do not run out of film. They also have the ability to delete bad shots or change to a lower resolution, in the case of taking extra shots. They are great for wide-angle photography in low- light conditions. Generally, shooting with film cameras produces fuzzy backgrounds and edges, whereas shooting with digital cameras gives sharper photographs.
On using a strobe, most film cameras are limited in providing shutter speeds that range between 1/60th to 1/250th of a second. The best digital underwater cameras do not have mechanical shutters and sync at speeds up to 1/800th of a second. They help to shoot in bright, shallow water, where the strobes would be ineffective. The high shutter speeds are also good for freezing light rays and fast actions.
Underwater digital cameras are comparatively small and lightweight, to the other cameras. The quality in higher resolution shots is also commendable. Most digital cameras provide the facility of plugging directly to a television, for image display. There are digital projectors in the market that produce brilliant images and also provide professional presentations, complete with audio tracks.
It is advisable for people looking forward for an alluring experience of underwater photography, to purchase a digital underwater camera instead of a film underwater camera.

Plasma Or Projection TV’s
When you are setting up your home theater you need to decide on what is the best way for you to watch. Many people would not have anything other than a projector as it adds to the cinema theme as well as giving you a very good image as big as you want. But many others do not want to deal with projectors and screens and would rather have the convenience of a TV style screen that you just turn on and play the DVD in as you would in any other room but on a bigger screen.
If you are using a projector then it is a good idea to make sure that your room has good thick curtains so that you can block the light from the room. As the image is produced through a projected light then it is best to use a projector in a fairly dark room. With some of the latest projectors they have a light sensor so that if the light is too bright for the image then it brightens the light to make it stronger. You also have to set up a projector for the movie and put up the screen. But it does give you a really good sense of being at the cinema as well as a really good, large picture that is very high quality.
There are some really good plasma screens around now and the cost is dropping. But you still get the sense that you are watching TV. Although if you put it on the wall then it is a lot more like a real screen. Plasmas have an advantage over projectors if you have a small room, as they did not need any space to project an image.
Although plasma TV does not have the same movie theater aspect to it as a projector does it is very easy to use and does give you a very good image.
If you want ease of use and a great quality picture and are happy either to have a smaller screen, or you are able to pay for a very big one, then plasma might be best for you. But a projector can give you a really good quality image that is as big as you want and there are some very good projectors that are very cheap. But you also have to set up the screen as well as the projector whenever you want to see a movie. But whatever you choose it is always worth trying it out in the store so that you can see which is the best for you.

Determining when to use a C-Mount Security Camera in your Security Application
C-mount cameras (or cs mount security cameras, as they are sometimes called) were the first security cameras and defined the industry. In’70’s and’80’s, cs-mount camera were invented, but they were simply known as security cameras because cs-mount surveillance cameras were the single format available. The iconic boxy cs-mount type was necessary because in the 70’s the circuit boards and other internal items in cameras were still very large. As technology has improved over time, security cameras were able to get much smaller and the bullet camera mold has begun to define the idea of a security camera.
C-mount security cameras are still some of the most technologically advanced security cameras around, as their size allows them to always support the greatest technology first. As with all technological developments, when a new technology is developed the first goal is to get it created, and the second step it to make it smaller. Because of this process, c-mount security camera are always the very first kind of security camera to be able to use a new technology. Right now, that technology is 1/2 inch chip sets. The majority of other security cameras can only use 1/3 or 1/4 inch chip sets. The size of the chip set is important as it defines two things: how well the security camera can see in low level lighting conditions and the maximum resolution of the camera.
Although making great inside cameras, c-mount security cameras face implementation challenges outdoors, as c-mount cameras are very susceptible to the environment. They will need c-mount mounting brackets to affix them to outdoor walls.
Infrared surveillance cameras excel at seeing in complete darkness, and many other cameras see well in the daytime, but cs-mount security cameras are some of the only surveillance cameras that work exceptionally well in the space between no light and daytime. This ability to record in low levels of light is measured by a camera’s lux rating. Lux is the measuring tool for the amount of light falling on an object. Lower lux ratings means that the camera can see in darker conditions but generally increases the cost of the camera.
A common mistake made when shopping for C-mount cameras is to forget to buy a corresponding lens. While this may bee seen as a downside to some, you must remember that this provides a versatility that is not available with other security camera types, but their price can be greater as all their parts must be purchased separately . While the cost might be higher to set up a security system, it will be of higher quality and save money over time.
CS-mount surveillance cameras, like most models of security cameras, do face a weakness: c-mount security cameras require considerable effort to be used outdoors. CS-mount cameras are more sensitive than, for example, bullet surveillance cameras, and considerable damage can be done to them by rain, wind, heat, or cold. If you need to use a cs-mount camera outdoors, you will need to purchase a housing and a mounting bracket. Some housings simply protect from rain and projectiles, whereas other are equipped with heaters and blowers to keep the temperature the same. Mounting brackets, just as they sound, enable c-mount security cameras to be installed on outside walls.
C-mount cameras also significantly deter crime, as their obtrusive size makes them extremely noticable. As such, many banks, businesses, and government offices use them. They declare “You are being watched.”
In summary, In conclusions, c-mount cameras are the first security camera to turn to if you want a reliable, high resolution video, a highly adaptable indoor camera, or a camera that can work even in low lighting. On the other hand, If you are looking for an outdoor camera that does not necessitate having the absolute highest quality video or lux rating, you may be better off with a bullet security camera. If you are looking for an indoor camera, there is nothing better.
We hope you appreciated our report on c-mount camerasand security systems.

Shoot Good Digital Video With Your Camcorder
Let me tell you from experience how important it is to know how to shoot good digital video with your camcorder before going on that vacation or filming that big event. When I was getting married my sister offered to film the happy day for me with her new camcorder, I agreed as it would save money on the wedding as a videographer could get quite expensive.
Let me tell you how wrong I was, the digital video was dark, shaky and blurred anytime she went into zoom or moved around the room. The sound was off and muffled and it was more of a headache to watch rather than a joy. In a nutshell, I wish I spent money on a good digital video shooting.
I don’t want people to make the same mistake that I did so to spread the word on my learning experience I would like to pass on some great tips on how to shoot good digital video with your Minidv camcorder.
Tip #1 - Do not record while walking or moving about as the digital camcorder cannot stay focused on a moving object. Choose a place to stand and begin by recording a starting point for a few seconds before moving onto the next object. Slowly and carefully pan the camcorder to the next point of focus and hold there for a few more seconds before you stop shooting.
Tip #2 - Avoid excessive zooming of objects, not only does it kill the camcorder battery faster, it can give the viewers a crazy headache. If there were a moment you’d like to catch up close, stand still and take your time while zooming and shooting video, also try to avoid any quick motions, as the image will blur.
Tip #3 - Make sure that the lighting around you is bright enough and do not point the camcorder lens directly facing sunlight, not only can this damage the video camera lens, it will also blacken the images making for an unpleasant movie. If you plan to be indoors, I suggest you invest in a camcorder light attachment that can easily be placed onto the video camera and turned on if needed.
Tip #4 - Last but not least, my favorite camcorder accessory by far has to be a Tripod. You can buy a cheap little mini table tripod for simple videos or you can invest in a larger stand up tripod for longer shooting of video. By using a tripod when recording, you can be assured that your images will not be shaky nor will the movie look amateur.

Optoma High Gain Projection Screen
I was very stressed when I decided to buy my Optoma GrayWolf 92 inch 16-9 1.8 gain projection screen. According to posts on AVS Forum I had to worry about: finding a discounted online retailer that would ship me the right product (the Graywolf has the same product number as Optoma’s white screen), the screen surviving shipping damage (large dents in the roll-up housing reported) and a horizontal line across the image area from a plastic sheet used for packing (more on this later). I’m happy to say I avoided all these headaches and received an intact screen at a reasonable price.
I arrived at the Graywolf after a long research journey through DIY screens. Before the low priced Graywolf crossed my browser, I was ready to buy a four by eight sheet of plastic corrugated sheeting for a screen, masked in a border of velvet and cropped by an elaborate draping system for different aspect ratios. All this DIY work became unattractive when I couldn’t figure out the sales at the local fabric store and how to strap the plastic to the roof of my SUV without a major accident. The Graywolf’s sub $200 price beat the DIY project’s time and effort.
The Optoma Graywolf is a retro-reflective retractable screen. A brighter image is reflected off the screen the closer your head is to the projector (within a sub 20 degree angle). It is said to work best with projector mounted in low height cabinets and on coffee tables. AVS forum members warn against the use of this screen with ceiling mounted projectors. My Sanyo PLV-Z3 LCD projector is ceiling mounted.
When seated (below the proper viewing angle from my projector and this screen) I lose brightness. Not so much that the projected image disappoints. In fact when I stand up into the proper viewing angle the screen can seem too bright and over-saturated (I’ve calibrated from my seated sweet spot after all). When you move too far to one side of the screen-out of the proper viewing cone-you lose brightness, blacks wash out and colors shift and fade.
The Graywolf shipped with a clear plastic sheet rolled up into the top half of the screen. When you remove the plastic you will notice a difference of the reflectivity of the image area crystals under the plastic versus those outside it. This leaves a faint band across the top third of the screen that you will only notice during scenes with large areas of flat, light color (like an overcast sky or an endless white room). The band has not faded away for me in the last nine months of ownership.
Like all screens that are not on a rigid frame the Graywolf has some ripples. The ripples are as noticeable as the top band from the plastic, with little to no impact on the majority or your viewing. You’ll only see them in some slow panning scenes and across flat, bright colors. I still get a perfectly rectangular image from the projector onto the screen.
The return retraction of the screen is a little sticky and violent when you do get it to retract. Luckily, Wife_o_Geek has not requested the screen to hide up in its valance when not in use. It just hangs around all day, waiting for another night of movie watching.
I hung the Graywolf from my ceiling with large ceiling hooks. After careful measurements, I was able to level the screen in three dimensions.
The Graywolf’s 16-9 image area is a dark gray behind its layer of retro-reflective crystals. The gray surface enhances perception of black level, increasing the screen’s contrast. I assume my blacks are better than on an equivalent white screen. The enhanced blacks when mixed with a high contrast image (like Naomi Watts against the Skull Island sunset in Peter Jackson’s King Kong (finally watched it over two nights, spectacular looking DVD)) give the image a deep 3D picture that pushes back into the screen beyond its 2D surface.
The Graywolf is my first front projection screen and I’m very impressed. For the price, you can’t beat this screen’s value to complement entry level front projectors (like my Sanyo PLV-Z3). You get high contrast, deeper blacks than a movie theater, and great screen geometry despite some ripples.
Build a valance with fancy crown moulding to impress the wife (or just for her to allow the screen and its elementary school retractable box in the room) like I did (well, like my wife requested our carpenter build, I painted it matte black though) and you’ll be on your way to an affordable, high performance home theater.

Learn Why A Video Camcorder Will Rock Your World
It is an undeniable fact that the whole world has transformed because of the financial turmoil that it is currently experiencing. Some people have changed for the better while others went on a downward spiral. One thing is for certain. Many people are now more conscious of how they budget their earnings. If people were not particular about belt tightening practices before, now, it has become the norm. The so-called purchasing power has just been given a new lease in life.
This has resulted to a more stringent approach in getting products off the shelves of both the grocery and department stores. Nowadays, it is no longer considered fashionable to just splurge without conscious thought. In fact, the prevailing trend involves a long and through process of careful deliberation whether one should purchase an item or not. Conducting a cost benefit analysis like an Economics graduate is something that even a child is being taught in order to inculcate the value of money.
Now, if you really believe that you have slaved for your job for a long time already without once giving yourself a nice treat, then indulge yourself with something important. If a video camcorder is your dream, then by all means go for it.
The succeeding paragraphs will explain to you the different ways a video camcorder can help you improve your life. Read on.
The first way a video camcorder can help you is to make you feel relax on your leisure time. You may be curious as to how this is possible. Well, if you are absorbed in a certain product, it follows that it is all you think about. You lose sight of non-essentials like the stressful environment from work, your boss who resembles a fierce Doberman and your co-worker who constantly annoys you. All you will be concerned about is getting the best shot. When the time comes that the real world beckons, you will feel recharged to solve problems and obstacles that might crop up in the course of the day.
Second, a video camcorder will catch the priceless moments that you want to share with your future children or grandchildren. Whether it is the romantic wedding of your baby sister, the christening of your favorite nephew or the graduation of your wife after she has finished her doctoral degree, your offspring will definitely give you a shower of kisses because you have allowed them a glimpse of what went on during the significant periods in your life.
Lastly, you will harness your skills in interpersonal relations because you are required to communicate with various people in taking great shots. Sometimes, you will be forced to make them do actions that are quite extreme in nature, like jumping off from a high place or running back and forth across two areas. Bear in mind that when you do choreography, you might find it very challenging.
So there you have it, ladies and gentlemen! They are the essential ways that a video camcorder can impress you. Well, what are you waiting for? Grab one now!
Every kid would want to have a High Definition camcorder of their own. But camcorders are not for kids to play with so instead the can get a great replica. Camcorders for kids come in many qualities and at different prices. If you want to know more about camcorders for children be sure to check out our website today.

Why The Full HD TV Is The Best
The full high definition TV (full hd tv) is supposed to be the best TV in the market to date. It goes by a large number of nick names that seem to keep popping up and being assimilated into the TV industry. One thing all these names have in common however is in proclaiming the superiority of the full high definition TV. These names include ultra HD, true HDTV and the 1080p.
To give you a picture of how the full high definition TV has won this war hands down you have to learn a bit. The standard TV would work on a resolution of 480. The high definition TV came along and blew this away with its high resolution of 1080i. Now get this, the full high definition TV has twice the resolution of the high definition TV.
Seeing that the full hd television has outdone the high definition TV in video quality how is the pricing? Well this is very debatable. The cheapest high definition television that I have seen costs about three hundred and fifty dollars. The cheapest full high definition television set that I have seen costs about five hundred. Of course you may be able to find a cheaper one around your area but this is just what I have seen.
The quality of the full high definition TV however can only be noticed above that of the high definition TV if you get the right size. For example if you put a 32 inch full high definition TV next to a high definition TV of equal size you will not notice a difference. The resolution of both the TV’s will look exactly the same. It beats the point therefore of buying a higher priced full high definition TV that is 32 inches.
There are very many different brands offering a variety of full high definition TVs. There are those which however manage to corner the market and dominate it because of their features and quality. One of the leading full high definition TV brands is the Sony bravia. It has managed to identify and capture its consumer market.
As the full high definition TVs’ work on such a high resolution, media manufactures had to adjust to this. Now the DVD’s and discs are all in high resolution formats. Otherwise the full high definition TV would be able to show high resolution but would have no high resolution media to play. They therefore now have the HD DVD and the blue-ray disc for them. These come with the movies and games in high resolution formats of 720p to 1080.
After one has chosen to buy a full high definition TV they will still have a few more sub choices to go through. One of the most common choices that they will have to make is whether to go with the plasma or the LCD full high definition. The plasma full high definition is apparently supposed to have more realistic motion that is more apparent as the screen size increases.
The full high definition TV will then only be left to choose by smaller considerations. One of these is the viewing distance in your house. Some of them are meant to be watched from a far to get the highest quality experience.

What You Should Know About Full HD TV
The full high definition (full hd tv) television goes by very many names and can sometimes be confusing. The television world has picked up with amazing speed and some have not been able to keep up with it. Some call the full high definition television the ultra high definition television. Others call it the true high density high definition television. For the technology buffs the full high definition television is simply called the 1080p.
The difference between the high definition television and the full high definition TV is very huge. The high definition TV uses digital high definition broadcasting system at a high resolution. This high definition is achieved by the increased number of horizontal lines used to form the image. The highest resolution high definition TV has a resolution of 1080i. The full high definition TV has almost double that of the high definition TV.
If you want to experience the maximum video sharpness of the full hd TV then you will know that size really does matter. If you compare a full high definition TV that is less than forty two inches with a hd TV you will almost not notice a difference. If you therefore intend to buy a full hd TV then you better do it big.
There are very many different brands offering a variety of full high definition TVs. There are those which however manage to corner the market and dominate it because of their features and quality. One of the leading full high definition TV brands is the Sony bravia. It has managed to identify and capture its consumer market.
The full hd and high definition televisions have their own formatting. The picture clarity cannot be appreciated on these televisions if the media is the old standard format. They have to be put in high resolutions beginning from 720 to 1080i. They are put on a different type of disc too. One of the most common of these is the blue ray disc.
There is another decision to be made about the type of full hd TV that you want to buy. They are in a further two classes, these are the LCD and the plasma full high definition TV screens. You will have to weigh for yourselves the advantages of each. Full high definition televisions with plasma screens have a no backlight system. This means that the contrast on screen is more dramatic than that of the LCD. It is therefore the way to go if you like to watch TV in the dark.
The full high definition TV will then only be left to choose by smaller considerations. One of these is the viewing distance in your house. Some of them are meant to be watched from a far to get the highest quality experience.
