Does Video Marketing Spell Trouble For TV Advertising?
Many larger companies use online video marketing as little more than a way to translate their TV advertising efforts to the web. Small businesses, however find online video as a powerful tool to get the word out about their companies, their brand image and of course their products and services.
About 80% of people with an internet connection watch online videos, many of which are reviews of products or services or information about companies. If your company isn’t using video marketing on the web, you are missing out on a lot of free exposure and almost certainly sales as well.
According the 2009 Brightroll Q1 Report, an increasing number of large companies are starting to make more use of the possibilities of online video by producing content designed for the medium. These videos can reach an audience who would be unlikely to see their TV advertising and online content can have an edgier feel which appeals to a younger demographic.
The internet is on demand and if people don’t like your videos, they will just get out of it and watch something else. That’s why it is important to have a specific strategy with what you want to achieve with a certain video. It might be a product review, a testimonial or an educational video.
The target audience of the video also has to be determined; with this in mind, the content can be tailored to have the strongest possible appeal to this group. After all, you could have literally millions of viewers but if your content is not compelling enough to close the deal, no number of viewers is enough.
One of the advantages of video marketing is that you can make your videos as long as you like, since you are not paying for 30 or 60 second spots as you would with TV advertising. However, the average attention span for video viewers is roughly the same as for TV ads: about 30 seconds. You can get viewers to watch longer blocks of content, but only if your videos are compelling.
You can reduce your marketing costs by using online videos, since there is a much lower expectation by viewers in terms of production values. Many larger companies take advantage of this to create low cost videos which have an edgier feel - and for small companies, this is an advantage since viewers are concerned first and foremost with content.
And then there is a chance of your video going viral, which means that people like your video, email it to their friends, social bookmark it, put it on their facebook or myspace page or twitter about it. This snowball effect could give your brand great publicity possibly without costing you a dime.

Inexpensive Digital Cameras And The Features They Have
Finding a digital camera that fits both your needs and your budget is not very difficult these days. And that are just about any electronics store and find inexpensive digital cameras that are reasonable quality. These days you do not spend hundreds of dollars to get a quality camera, you can spend less than 100 comments not even less than 50, to get the perfect camera for your needs.
Amongst the foremost things to consider when you plan to buy a camera is the purpose behind it. If you plan to use the camera professionally, then you might want to think about getting a camera that can get you high quality results, even if it costs a little more. However, if you plan to take pictures as a hobby, then looking at inexpensive cameras can get you some great deals.
While digital cameras were quite expensive when the technology was just launched, that is no longer the case. One can now expect to find inexpensive digital cameras being produced by different camera manufacturers. Camera companies that do offer inexpensive digital cameras include Canon, Fuji, Kodak, Nikon, Olympus, Pentax, Panasonic, etc. While these companies do offer a wide range of inexpensive options, they also cater to the professional photographers’ niche.
If you are looking for inexpensive digital cameras you should ideally avoid cameras with seemingly inconsequential features such as smile detection, face recognition, frame addition capabilities, etc. as these would only increase the price of the camera in question.
Features such as tap/shake operation, touch screens, etc. can also raise the price of a camera and can often complicate the picture taking process. You want to look at relatively simple camera models while looking for one on a budget.
Resolution should not really be a concern in looking at inexpensive cameras as most of the inexpensive models that are now being sold come with 8 megapixels. An 8 megapixel camera is enough to get good 8 X 10 pictures, but larger resolutions such as 10 or 12 megapixels may be better if you are intending to edit your pictures later on.
Something you need to keep in mind when shopping for any digital camera is its zoom feature. Digital cameras that come only with a digital zoom don’t actually zoom in on the subject, rather they only magnify the image, which blows up the pixels and gives you a decreased picture quality. For being able to appropriately zoom in on the subject, the camera should come with an optical zoom.
Just keep in mind the quality is not always reflected the price when it comes to digital cameras. You can find inexpensive digital cameras that are decent quality, you don’t even have to go above $50.
It’s not necessary to spend more than you have to in order to get a good quality digital camera these days. Today you can find inexpensive digital cameras that are good quality and just right for your budget.

How To Save Money Buying iPod Shows Online To Load Your Apple iPod Player
Nowadays, people are fascinated with their iPods. They are the perfect portable entertainments systems that can be taken wherever you go. Movie watching has become extremely popular on these portable viewers. Now because of the internet, you can get an unlimited supply of movies and films in MPEG 4 file format.
The software programs online can easily convert most popular movie files formats. These formats include WMV, MOV, VOB, MPEG, AVI and many others. In many cases you may be able to find the conversion software online for free. Some paid retail products are excellent for file conversions.
Aside from covering movies and films into the proper file format, you should also check to see if the movies are in a 640 by 480 video format. This is the format that all iPod viewers use. If the movie is not then the picture quality will be poor. Believe it or not there are software programs that can handle this too.
If a movie does not match the iPod movie system, you will still be able to hear and see the movie, but the picture will be distorted resulting in an unpleasant movie experience. iPod does allow for a slight change in resolution but not by much. It is always better to match the exact resolution required by Apple.
If you want to convert home movies and videos, Apple has a program called QuickTime 7 Pro that you can use. This program seamlessly converts home movies and videos into an iPod format for perfect picture viewing. This is a wonderful way to store home movies of friends and family for viewing when you are away.
So how do you transfer home videos to you iPod? It is very easy. Once you transfer the video file from your digital camcorder to you desktop computer, download QuickTime 7 Pro and start the program. You will see the title of the video that you want to transfer and convert in the top menu.
Once everything is in place, you just have to launch QuickTime 7 Pro and click on the title of the home video that you want to transfer. The process is very simple and only takes a few minutes of your time. This program will allow you to transfer all of your precious home videos and keepsakes.
Once the conversion is complete for your home movie, you will be required to synchronize the movie on your computer with the iPod software before it can be transferred to your iPod. The synchronization process works the same way with home videos as it does with storing songs on your iPod.

Season Predictions for the Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors were the feel good story of 2007. Everyone was rooting for them come playoff time. The slogan, “Ya gotta believe” was the theme going on out west.
The warriors were young and motivated players that seemingly came out of nowhere and swiped the number eight seed in the Western Conference, they went on to miraculously defeat the Dallas Mavericks in a first round seven game series, knocking off the team with the NBA’s best record and the top seed in the Western Conference. The basketball world couldn’t believe what they had witnessed!
The Warriors are not contenders in the West by any means; they should be fun to watch with their high scoring fast pace games. Many will focus their attention on scoring sensation Stephen Curry - son of Del Curry who was a good shooter himself - and how he will fit in the NBA.
Stephen Jackson was the leading scorer on the Warriors in 08-’09′ with 20 points per game followed by Jamal Crawford - who is not on the Warriors anymore.
F Cory Maggette is one of the better players on the team and should have another solid season. Being this is his 10th season he is the veteran that needs to keep the team focused all season long.
F/C Andris Biedrins had his best season to date averaging 11 points per game, he will need to increase that average.
The Warriors might not be what the San Antonio Spurs once were defensively - but in a league with gifted athletes the Warriors can improve like the Denver Nuggets did last year.
This is a pretty deep team that could easily make its mark. 45-37 record for the Golden State Warriors in 09-10 if you ask me.

Groovin’ Blocks Brings Clubbing To The iPhone
Looking to add another match-three puzzler to your iPhone app collection? “You can’t be serious,” you ask. These days, the iTunes App store is brimming over with match-three misfits. Most would hardly see a reason for the addition of another one. Yet, Groovin’ Blocks is enough of a stand out to justify its existence. Zoo Games is marketing Groovin’ Blocks as more of a jam session than a regular puzzle game. After a successful spin as a Wiiware title, Groovin’ Blocks hits the iPhone screen in full force.
Spending some time with Groovin’ Blocks is like hittin’ up your favorite clubbin’ scene. OK, enough with the apostrophes. Seriously, if you’re a fan of techno beats and pulsating lights you’ll probably like this app. Yet, if rhythm is its soul, puzzling is its heart. Laid out in a Tetris-like format, players are made to arrange stacks of colored blocks within an empty room. Matching touching colors of three or more eliminates those blocks, freeing up space for those jiving on down from above. Building off this idea, Groovin’ Blocks introduces multipliers and powerups into the mix. Multipliers are obtained by hitting the down arrow simultaneous to a beat vibe scrolling in from both sides of the screen. When a multiplier is activated, it remains active as long as the player continues to nail beats when dropping block into place. Powerups are awarded as blocks with special power symbols on them are place with a beat. Some powerups increase the value of nearby blocks while others explode blocks around the powerup holder.
Groovin’ Blocks includes 50 levels which are arranged by songs. Locked levels are opened by reaching scoring achievements with matches, power-ups and multipliers. Casual, Experienced, and Hard difficulty levels can be selected in the playing arena. Each track has a happy / trippy feel while being quite different from the last. An easily navigated user interface is presented but we wished the instruction boxes were a little more flushed out looking. While no online scoring system is yet available, we guess Zoo Games will add one soon.
Certainly, Groovin’ Blocks is no off-the-shelf match three puzzle title. It truly has Tetris on the brain, but pulls off enough originality to set itself apart from the crowd. At its current selling price of $1.99, we highly recommend Groovin’ Blocks for anyone who wants to bust a move while solving a few puzzles along the way.

Find What You Need to Know About the Latest iPod Touch Releases
With the 32GB iPod Touch making it into Time’s top gadgets to pack in your luggage for 2009; it is perhaps time to take a look at some of the latest releases. This is not easy of course, with it having more suitors than Paris Hilton; but hopefully you’ll appreciate these.
Finally released to the owners of the iPod Touch is Trillian; one of the most popular IMs available today. At a cent under five bucks from the App Store, it is likely this will be on many people’s Christmas list this year.
This is almost assured, as the mobile application remains loyal to its desktop counterpart as much as possible. Contacts can be organized and sorted as readily as you can from a home computer, whilst multi chats can also be had with the user friendly tabbed browser bar.
More than this though, and particularly helped by updates from Apple themselves, it allows users to toggle their online status, select an avatar and customize messages according to the status set. Whatever the status and whether the app is activated or not, users will receive notifications of messages, selecting to reply, or not, as they wish.
The beauty of the app of course is in its ability to handle instant messaging from a range of platforms, and synchronize this effortlessly. However, use of it does mean that users will need a Trillian Astra account, though this too can be done via the iPod Touch.
Increasingly, the iPod Touch is being used as a gaming device, so it is no surprise that a plethora of games are coming available in the run up to Christmas.
Considering how successful its predecessor was, The Treasures of Montezuma 2 is likely to be a hit. At just $1. 99 from the Apple app store too, the improved challenges and greater number of levels to play are likely to be tempting to casual gamers too.
Adding to the Ice Age film franchise, is the game spinning off from the 3rd film; Dawn of the Dinosaurs. This sees the player take the role of the hapless acorn seeking squirrel, Scrat, as he searches through wonderfully produced platforms on his seemingly never ending task.
Whilst no new releases have yet been announced, Konami also has some great news for gamers; having thrown all its titles into the $. 99 bin. Expect sales of Krazy Kart Racing and Silent Hill to go through the roof any time soon.
For those wishing to use their iPod Touch as the music player it was initially meant to be; the latest version release of iSample is sure to get a look in. With a host of professional features now included as standard too; this is something that will give hours of entertainment.
Whilst these releases are some of the more popular ones of late, there are sure to be many more coming online. With many new accessories being available too; there will always be something to keep iPod Touch users happy.
If you are seeking for a great present to give your child this festive season, you may want to think of looking at the ipod touch. Remember that you do not need to buy it new, you could always opt for a used ipod touch.

Installing HD TV in your Home
If people are considering purchasing an HDTV then they should really take the model’s contrast ratio into consideration. The contrast ratio along with screen resolution, have a major effect on the overall picture. A high contrast ratio is desired since these models produce fantastic colors that most accurately reflect “real world” conditions.
Contrast ratio can be defined as a unit of measurement of the ratio between the brightest (white) and darkest color (black) that the specific television can produce. Traditional CRT televisions, plasma, LCD and LED all produce different levels of the darkest blacks and brightest whites.
Unlike most product tests, there is not a standard procedure for measuring the contrast ratio. Each manufacturer determines their own method to measure the ratio which makes it almost impossible to compare different models. However, ANSI (American National Standards Institute) has developed a test using a checkerboard panel to measure both the white and black simultaneously. The conditions of the room will play a role in the results of the ANSI test, but many companies now use this method to test the contrast ratio.
Another test used in measuring contrast ratio in HDTV is called the “full on full off method” which measures the ratio between a pure black and pure white screen. Furthermore, the test will produce a higher contrast ratio but is not a good representation of realistic conditions.
The average consumer does not know what produces the sharpest colors and most would not assume that contrast ratio play such an integral part. The picture on an HDTV is made up of hundreds of thousands of tiny pixels and each of them is arranged to form complete pictures. Models with the best pictures are distinguished by their precision in separating the black pixels from nearby lighter pixels. Many companies are constantly looking to refine their technology to combat what is called “light leakage” in the industry.
Plasma TV’s generally offer the highest contrast ratios when compared to other models such as LCD’s and LED’s. In fact, some plasma TV’s feature contrast ratios as high as 1,000,000 to 1. To compete with plasma LCD and LED manufacturers now feature contrast ratios that are comparable to plasma models.
It is important to remember that the contrast ratio does not affect how well motion is rendered or displayed. HDTV delivers a quality picture so it is important to select a television with a good contrast ratio and resolution. Moreover, one should not waste the features of HDTV by using an old television with a poor contrast.
If one loves the experience of HDTV and HD movie, then a television with a high contrast ratio is the ideal choice. Whether a person is in the market for a plasma, LCD or LED television, the screen resolution as well as the contrast ratio should all be taken into consideration. Lastly, it is important to take the cost of a television into account before making one’s final selection.

Should I buy the Sony Bravia KDL-65W5100?
Sony is one of the leading HDTV brands today, and as proof, it has come up with one of the most interactive HDTV models - the Sony Bravia KDL-65W5100. Indeed, this model is loaded with many interactive features, the addition of which comes at a relatively low extra cost.
For one, the Sony Bravia KDL-65W5100 offers three Yahoo widgets. These are Yahoo Weather, which shows you the current and five-day weather forecast for your city and other cities around the world; Yahoo News, which gives you the latest headlines from top stories and various categories like business, entertainment and sports; and Yahoo Finance, which lets you create and track your stock portfolio. Yahoo News loads quickly, although it provides two lines of information at most and doesn’t give an option to read more, while the Weather and Finance widgets take a few minutes to load. The best part about the Yahoo widgets of the KDL-65W5100 is that you can move them around, instead of having them confined to the bottom of the screen, something you cannot do with Samsung models.
There is a Twitter widget, too, so you can see the most recent tweets, which are updated real-time. You can even post a new tweet on your account, provided you have the patience to use the virtual keyboard on the screen using the directional keys on your remote.
Aside from providing you with the latest updates, the interactivity suite of the KDL-65W5100 also offers built-in video streaming, which means you don’t have to spend extra cash on buying a Bravia Internet Video Link. Rather, you can watch your favorite videos from the web almost instantly (give it a few minutes to load) and some of them are even HD, like the videos on Amazon Video on Demand, making use of your HDTV’s stunning screen clarity.
Other channels or providers available include YouTube, Sports Illustrated On Demand, CBS, The Minisode Network, Blip.tv, FEARnet, Style.com, among others, although the videos they have available are not as clear as those on Amazon’s. Not to worry, you will have more choices once Netflix becomes available, which Sony promises it will.
If you have video content stored on your other computers, you can access them, too, thanks to the enhanced DLNA capability of the KDL-65W5100. Of course, you can access your stored music files, too, without even leaving your seat, although you can simply listen to your favorite Internet Radio station with the push of a few buttons.
Finally, the KDL-65W5100 also has an interactive program guide, which means its list of television programs is regularly updated via your Internet connection for free, so you don’t miss out on your favorite shows and movies on TV.
Indeed, the Sony Bravia KDL-65W5100 makes a great interactive HDTV and an excellent HDTV overall, with breathtaking picture quality, enough picture modes and presets, an energy-saving Eco Menu and enough connectivity options for all your needs. Don’t be alarmed if you find only one HDMI input at the back. You will find three others on the side, along with the USB port and the PC input for convenience, especially for those who plan on mounting this stylish piece on the wall.

What Makes Sony Televisions A Wise Buy
The quality of home entertainment systems has increased dramatically over the last ten years. There are now many new digital formats such as LED, LCD, HD, and plasma that have improved the home viewing experience, the full range of formats is available in Sony televisions.
One of the most popular choices is the Bravia series. They come in a range of sizes: 22-26 inches, 32-40 inches, and 42 -70 inches. The Bravia L series is a great choice as it comes at an economical price yet gives a high definition picture with 720p resolution, dynamic contrast, three HD ports, and a computer input.
Sony HD televisions are very easy to use. Today there are various digital channels available which come in different formats. With a Sony TV it will automatically format each for you saving you the time and effort. The latest models not only have very flat screens, they also have an anti-glare finish so that you don’t have the problem of reflections. The technology used produces a very clear picture with strong colors on a model that is simple to operate.
LED TVs have becoming very popular over the last’ months and Sony is a leader in this field. They have models that have a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 resulting in near perfect blacks. The colors and shadings seem to move and change quicker. Also, Sony LED TVs have an organic display system that uses less power than LCD models saving you money in the long run.
A simple addition to Sony LED TVs is the ability to tilt the screen. Though a simple concept it means that you can get the best angle no matter where you sit. If you often watch TV with your family or guests then this is a great feature. It may even be possible to attach some models to your wall to fully utilize space.
Apart from LCD and LED TVs you may consider buying a plasma TV. These differ in that they have a display system that utilizes a system of small bubbles filled with plasma gas. When an electric current is passed through they create a very sharp image that has excellent contrast.

You could treat yourself to a top of the range home cinema experience or choose a cheaper option that still brings high definition viewing to your room.
